This Domain Registrant Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions between you (“Registrant,” “you,” or “your”) and Cloudoora (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding the registration, transfer, renewal, and management of domain names. By registering or managing a domain name through Cloudoora, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, Cloudoora’s Terms of Service, applicable registry policies, and the rules established by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”) and relevant authorities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a domain registration, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
You are of legal age and authorized to enter into a binding contract.
All information you provide is true, current, and complete.
2. ICANN and Registry Compliance
You agree to comply with:
ICANN policies and consensus rules, including but not limited to:
Registrant Rights and Responsibilities
Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)
Transfer and WHOIS accuracy policies
Registry-specific terms, which may vary by TLD (e.g., .com, .net, .bd)
Failure to comply may result in domain suspension, cancellation, or legal action.
3. Registrant Responsibilities
As a domain registrant, you agree to:
Provide and maintain accurate contact information (including email and phone).
Ensure the domain is not used for illegal or abusive purposes (e.g., spam, phishing, malware).
Respond promptly to Cloudoora inquiries related to compliance or abuse reports.
Acknowledge that failure to respond or maintain accurate data may result in domain suspension or deletion.
4. Term, Renewal & Expiry
Domain registration is valid for the chosen term (1–10 years depending on TLD).
You are responsible for renewing your domain before the expiration date.
Domains may enter a grace period after expiry, followed by redemption or deletion, depending on the TLD.
Cloudoora is not liable for expired or deleted domains due to non-renewal.
5. Transfers
Transfers between registrars or registrants must comply with:
ICANN’s Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy (IRTP)
Registry-specific rules
Cloudoora’s internal security procedures
Unauthorized transfers may be blocked or reversed. We may require verification before approving a transfer.
6. Dispute Resolution
You agree to be bound by:
The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) for gTLDs.
Any applicable ccTLD-specific dispute procedures.
Court orders or legal directives from competent authorities.
Cloudoora may suspend or transfer a domain as required by law or arbitration rulings.
7. Use of WHOIS Data
As a registrant, you acknowledge:
WHOIS data may be published as required by ICANN or the registry.
You may opt for WHOIS privacy protection, if available.
Abuse of WHOIS data for spam, data mining, or harassment is prohibited.
8. Abuse and Policy Violations
Domains found to be involved in illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activity (e.g., phishing, malware, trademark infringement) may be:
Suspended or terminated without notice
Reported to relevant authorities or blacklists
Subject to legal claims or third-party actions
We reserve the right to take preventive or corrective measures.
9. Modifications to the Agreement
Cloudoora may update this Agreement to reflect changes in:
ICANN or registry policy
Applicable law or regulations
Industry standards
Any changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of Cloudoora services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Cloudoora is not liable for:
Loss of domain names due to your actions or inaction (e.g., non-renewal, transfer errors)
Disputes between registrants and third parties
Downtime, system issues, or technical failures beyond our control
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the domain in question.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cloudoora is legally registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
