At Cloudoora, we are committed to conducting our business ethically, sustainably, and responsibly. We expect the same commitment from our partners. This Third-Party Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines the minimum standards and expectations we have for suppliers, service providers, vendors, consultants, partners, and all third parties (collectively, “Third Parties”) who do business with or on behalf of Cloudoora.
This Code reflects our principles in key areas such as environmental responsibility, human rights, labor practices, health and safety, anti-corruption, and data protection. We encourage our Third Parties not only to meet these standards but to exceed them wherever possible.
1. Environmental Responsibility
- Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Strive to minimize environmental impact and continually improve their environmental performance.
- Support circular economy practices in product development, service delivery, and recycling.
- Use energy-efficient methods and prioritize renewable energy sources.
- Avoid or limit hazardous substances that may harm human health or the environment.
- Promote environmental awareness and training among their employees.
2. Human Rights
- Respect internationally recognized human rights, including those outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Global Compact.
- Prohibit discrimination in hiring and employment based on gender, nationality, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Prevent any form of abuse, harassment, or degrading treatment in the workplace.
- Uphold employees’ rights to freedom of expression and protection from retaliation.
- Safeguard whistleblowers and those reporting misconduct.
3. Fair Labor Practices
- Provide fair wages and comply with national labor laws.
- Respect working hour limits and compensate overtime lawfully.
- Offer clear employment terms through written contracts.
- Support freedom of association and collective bargaining.
- Prohibit forced labor, document withholding, and restrict practices that limit workers’ freedom.
- Ban child labor and comply with ILO Convention No. 138 on minimum age.
- Ensure that young workers’ employment is safe and education-compatible.
4. Health and Safety
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment in compliance with local safety laws.
- Perform risk assessments and implement preventive safety measures.
- Provide appropriate training, protective equipment, and safety instructions to all employees.
5. Anti-Corruption and Fair Competition
- Operate with zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion, or any improper advantage.
- Avoid offering gifts, favors, or incentives in exchange for business influence.
- Comply with all applicable anti-bribery laws and maintain clear internal policies.
- Refrain from collusion, price fixing, or anti-competitive conduct.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest involving Cloudoora personnel (e.g., family, friendships, or financial ties).
6. Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions
- Not engage in or support money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, or tax evasion.
- Comply with all applicable economic sanctions and export control regulations.
- Avoid any activity that could implicate Cloudoora in unlawful financial practices.
7. Data Protection and Intellectual Property
- Handle all personal data and confidential information in accordance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
- Use such data only as authorized by Cloudoora.
- Protect intellectual property and never distribute or use unlicensed materials or software.
8. Grievance and Whistleblower Mechanisms
- Provide secure, confidential channels for raising concerns or reporting misconduct.
- Ensure personnel and stakeholders are free to voice complaints without fear of retaliation.
- Take prompt and appropriate action to address valid grievances.
9. Compliance and Enforcement
- Cloudoora may conduct assessments, audits, or due diligence to verify compliance with this Code.
- Require Third Parties to implement corrective action plans where necessary.
- Suspend or terminate partnerships for significant or repeated violations of this Code.
